Big Bear's Annual National Mountain Bike Race was treated with 18" of snow on the preceding Tuesday. Late May is a little unusual for such a heavy dumping of snow. Some resorts actually reopened for skiing on this particular weekend. Most of it was still around for the mountain bike race.
