Hewlett's Gulch

Local rider Rob Lanzetta living the "Rocky Mountain High" and enjoying a great ride just minutes from Ft. Collins, CO. Hewlett's Gulch is a technical ride that ascends up and out of the Poudre Canyon. It has several creek crossings and climbs fairly steadily for about 5 miles. The views from the top are excellent and the descent is even better. At the top there is a short route that you can take that loops around back to the main trail which only takes a few minutes to complete. This ride is primarily an out-and -back venture and it challenges the technical skills of even the best riders.
